Dockworkers in ports across multiple countries are holding a coordinated day of strike action in solidarity with Palestine. The action combines calls for a ceasefire and an end to wars worldwide with demands for better pay and working conditions. Supporters are amplifying the walkout online under ceasefire and pro-Palestine hashtags, framing it as labour taking a stand against the war.
Why now: A coordinated international labour strike tying the Gaza war to workers' rights is a rare, newsworthy show of cross-border union solidarity.
