GYM, a youth-led organisation, has spent two years renting land where it grows food, plants trees and trains young people in sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation. The group says owning land would cut costs, let it feed more families, expand its tree nursery and empower more youth. It is appealing for support to make the land purchase a reality.
Why now: The organisation is fundraising and raising awareness for its land purchase campaign.
