A travel writer has reviewed a Halloween-night production of Macbeth staged at the former HM Prison Bendigo in Victoria, Australia. The Shakespearean tragedy, with its witches and ghosts, was described as a natural match for both the eerie date and the grim prison setting. The write-up has been published on a subscription platform and has drawn modest interest from theatre followers.
Why now: The spooky combination of Macbeth, Halloween and a historic prison venue makes for an eye-catching theatrical event.

- New at my Patreon... I've just visited Bendigo on the night of Halloween, to see a production of Macbeth - a good fit with its prominent witches and ghost. Another good fit was its setting, the grim edifice once known as HM Prison Bendigo: https://www.… · timrichards@aus.social · 7
