In a WBBL match between Melbourne Stars Women and Perth Scorchers Women, Alana King took two wickets in a maiden over, bowling Maisy Gibson for a five-ball duck. The Stars collapsed to 19 for 9 after 18 overs, leaving them needing 16 runs from 12 balls in an extraordinary low-scoring chase.
Why now: A near-record collapse and a double wicket maiden in a tight WBBL run chase is remarkable cricket that fans are reacting to in real time.
