Vivienne Jolie-Pitt drops Pitt from her name

Original: vivienne marcheline jolie-pitt

Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt, the teenage daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has taken a legal step that removes her father's surname, now going simply by Vivienne Jolie. Reports say the move formally leaves Brad Pitt out of her name, fuelling talk of a definitive rupture in their relationship amid the long-running Jolie-Pitt family disputes.

Why now: The legal name change is being read as a public signal of a final break between Vivienne and her father Brad Pitt.
