A gardener in Germany is sharing photos of their yellow groove bamboo (Phyllostachys vivax "Huangwenzhu") growing dramatically tall as part of a photo challenge themed "High up". They describe how the bamboo's rapid growth often left them feeling like they were standing in a forest, and say they celebrated every new shoot that emerged.
