Campaigners associated with the Stop Killing Games movement are urging Europeans to sign a new European Citizens' Initiative calling for an end to digital ID requirements and online age verification, warning these measures threaten internet privacy and open access. The petition, published on the European Commission's citizens' initiative platform, is being promoted across social media under the slogan Stop Killing The Internet.
Why now: Supporters of the Stop Killing Games campaign are mobilising the same community behind a new petition against EU digital ID and age verification rules.
