Original: Rubio orders visiting Iranian UN delegation to leave NYC ahead of schedule

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has ordered the visiting Iranian delegation to the United Nations to leave New York ahead of schedule, according to an AP News report. The move restricts the diplomats' stay during the UN presence, and it is drawing attention because Iran's UN missions normally operate under international hosting rules.

Why now: It is an unusual US restriction on a foreign UN delegation, raising questions about US-Iran tensions.
