University of Houston to honor Artemis II crew at celebration
Original: University of Houston hosting celebration honoring Artemis II crew
The University of Houston is hosting a public celebration honoring the crew of NASA's Artemis II mission, the lunar flight that will carry astronauts around the Moon. The event brings together the Houston community, which is home to NASA's Johnson Space Center, to recognize the astronauts ahead of or following the historic mission.
Why now: Artemis II is a high-profile milestone in NASA's return to the Moon, and the crew's Houston ties make the celebration newsworthy.
