Stop Killing Games backers launch new EU initiative on internet rules

The organisers behind the Stop Killing Games campaign have launched a new European Citizens' Initiative called Stop Killing The Internet, registered on the EU's official citizens' initiative portal. The effort follows their earlier campaign against publishers shutting down purchasable games, and the new initiative appears to target EU digital regulation, with references to the EU kids act circulating among supporters. Gamers and digital rights advocates are sharing the registration and urging signatures.
Why now: The campaign group behind a high-profile gaming petition has registered a follow-up EU citizens' initiative, prompting supporters to rally signatures.
