FlyDubai co-pilot stabbed captain in alleged attack, Netanyahu says
Original: FlyDubai co-pilot stabbed captain, tried to crash flight to Israel after "radical indoctrination," Netanyahu says
FlyDubai's co-pilot stabbed the captain and allegedly tried to crash the plane, which was bound for Israel, according to Benjamin Netanyahu, who said the co-pilot had undergone 'radical indoctrination'. Details about the flight, the crew's condition and the co-pilot's fate remain limited, and the airline has not been quoted in the available reporting. The claim is being attributed to the Israeli prime minister's office.
Why now: Netanyahu's account of an in-flight attack linked to radicalisation is alarming and fresh, prompting wide attention.
