Original: FlyDubai co-pilot stabbed captain, tried to crash flight to Israel after "radical indoctrination," Netanyahu says
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said a FlyDubai co-pilot stabbed the captain and attempted to crash a flight bound for Israel after what he described as radical indoctrination. The claim, made public by Netanyahu, has drawn wide attention as details of the incident and the co-pilot's motives remain limited, with authorities expected to release further information about the attack and the flight's outcome.
Why now: Netanyahu's dramatic allegation of radicalisation aboard a commercial flight is a breaking and alarming security story.
