Leaked Video Claims Cops Can Bypass iPhone Auto-Reboot Lock

Original: Cops Can Bypass iPhone’s Automatic Reboot to Get Into Locked Phones, Leaked Video Claims

A leaked video from GrayKey maker Magent Forensics claims the phone-unlocking tool can bypass the iPhone's automatic reboot feature, which had been locking investigators out of seized devices. The reboot function, introduced by Apple, resets locked iPhones and hampers forensic access. The claim has renewed debate over police surveillance capabilities and iPhone security.

Why now: Newly leaked footage suggests law enforcement can circumvent an Apple security feature that previously blocked access to locked iPhones.
