Ukraine deploys razor fence to stop drone attacks
Original: Ukraine rolls out drone-stopping razor fence to thwart attacks
Ukraine has begun deploying a razor fence system designed to stop incoming drone attacks. The barrier is intended to physically intercept hostile drones, particularly the exploding first-person-view models that have become a major threat along the front lines. The rollout reflects Ukraine's ongoing push for low-cost, practical defenses against Russia's expanding use of drones in the war.
Why now: Drone attacks have become one of the dominant threats of the war, so any new counter-drone defense draws wide attention.
