Ukraine deploys razor fence to stop drones
Original: Ukraine rolls out drone-stopping razor fence to thwart attacks
Ukraine has begun rolling out razor wire fencing designed to stop drone attacks, according to New Scientist. The barrier is intended to snag or destroy incoming drones before they reach their targets, adding to the country's expanding arsenal of counter-drone defences as aerial attacks continue on cities and infrastructure.
Why now: Drone attacks remain a defining feature of the war, so new countermeasures by Ukraine draw wide attention.
