Starlink teases hourly and weekly internet passes
Original: Starlink 'Community Site' Program Teases Hourly, Weekly Internet Passes
Starlink appears to be developing a 'Community Site' program that would offer short-term internet passes, including hourly and weekly options, rather than only monthly subscriptions. The news, reported by PCMag, suggests the company is exploring flexible, pay-as-you-go access, potentially aimed at travelers, temporary sites, or users who only need connectivity occasionally. Details on pricing and availability have not yet been confirmed by SpaceX.
Why now: New reporting suggests Starlink may soon offer flexible short-term internet plans, which would be a notable change from its standard monthly subscriptions.
