Rep. McIver joins rare group who have given birth in Congress
Representative McIver has given birth while serving in Congress, joining a very small group of women who have done so in office. The milestone highlights how few members of Congress have had children during their tenure, and is drawing attention to the challenges facing parents in elected office.
