Original: The Book of Enoch Says Certain Humans Are Guarded by Something Older Than Angels — And Names It
Attention is turning to the Book of Enoch, the ancient Jewish apocalyptic text, over claims that it describes certain humans being protected by an entity older than angels and even names it. The non-canonical book, long a source of fascination for its accounts of fallen angels and heavenly secrets, is being cited as evidence of a protective force predating the angelic hierarchy, sparking debate about what the text actually says.
Why now: Interest in apocryphal scripture and its mysterious claims is resurfacing, drawing large audiences to the Book of Enoch's imagery.
