Book of Enoch Claim Says Certain Humans Guarded by Entity Older Than Angels
Original: The Book of Enoch Says Certain Humans Are Guarded by Something Older Than Angels — And Names It
The ancient Book of Enoch is drawing renewed attention over claims that it describes certain humans being protected by a named entity said to be older than the angels. The text, an ancient Jewish apocryphal work attributed to Enoch, is not part of most biblical canons, and such interpretations are drawing large interest online.
Why now: Renewed popular interest in apocryphal scripture and its mystical claims about angelology and divine protection.
