Elon Musk to advise Pentagon on future warfare
Original: Elon Musk to return his attention to government, advise Pentagon
Elon Musk is set to return to government work, this time advising the Pentagon on future war, according to a Washington Post report. The move would put the world's richest man back in an informal national security role after his earlier stint with the Trump administration's cost-cutting effort. It is likely to draw scrutiny over his business interests, including SpaceX's vast Defense Department contracts.
Why now: Fresh reporting that Musk is taking on a new Pentagon advisory role, renewing debate over his influence and conflicts of interest.
