Elon Musk to advise Pentagon on future war

Original: Elon Musk to return his attention to government, advise Pentagon

Elon Musk is set to return to government work, this time advising the Pentagon on future warfare, according to a Washington Post report. The news puts the billionaire back at the center of defense policy discussions after his earlier stint in the Trump administration's cost-cutting effort, and it is already drawing attention given his business interests in space and defense contracting.

Why now: Musk's renewed role in US defense policy raises fresh conflict-of-interest and influence questions.
