For some Brazilians, this election is a vote on Trump
NPR reports that some Brazilian voters are treating their country's election as a referendum on US President Donald Trump. The outcome is being read not just as a choice about Brazil's future, but as a signal of how voters view Trump and his influence on Brazilian politics, adding an international dimension to the national vote.
Why now: Trump's influence on Brazilian politics is making the country's election resonate beyond its borders
