Anti-migrant campaigners accused of abusing their partners
Original: Revealing, anti-migrant campaigners, who abused their partners... # migration # HumanRights # asylum # DomesticViolence
A Guardian report alleges that some figures behind far-right street patrols and anti-migrant campaigning in the UK are ex-partners named by domestic abuse survivors. The findings have drawn attention to the private conduct of activists who publicly claim to protect women and communities, prompting discussion about hypocrisy and accountability in the movement.
Why now: The Guardian's report exposes alleged domestic abusers within anti-migrant campaigns, contrasting their public rhetoric with private behaviour.
