Original: » Eva Marie Saint, Oscar Winner, Dead at 102 BECAUSE THANKS TO HER # LABOR # UNION ― # SAGAFTRA ― SHE HAD HEALTH INSURAN

Eva Marie Saint, the Oscar-winning actress known for 'On the Waterfront' and 'North by Northwest', has died at the age of 102. Alongside tributes to her career, commenters are highlighting that she had health insurance for most of her adult life thanks to SAG-AFTRA, her performers' union, in a country without universal health care.

Why now: Her death at a remarkable age, combined with a point about union health coverage in the American health care debate, is drawing attention.
