Original: A Cray-1 supercomputer replica from 30 "obsolete" Mac Minis

A hobbyist has built a working replica of the Cray-1, the iconic 1970s supercomputer, using roughly 30 older Mac Minis as compute nodes. The project recreates the machine's distinctive curved cabinet while harnessing the cluster of retired Apple computers, and it is drawing wide attention among technology enthusiasts who admire the blend of retro design and repurposed hardware.
