Trump complains over Nobel Peace Prize snub
Original: RE: https:// cycle.town/@ElectricTrike/1174 12500900395834 # Trump complained Friday about not winning the # NobelPeaceP
Donald Trump criticised not winning the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize during a Republican rally in Syracuse, New York, that was meant to support other GOP candidates. Critics quickly noted the irony of his complaint coming in the same year he ordered strikes against Iran, arguing that starting a conflict undercuts any claim to a peace award. The comments have drawn mockery and debate online about his prospects for the prize.
Why now: The irony of demanding a peace prize while starting a war with Iran made the remarks a talking point.
