Experts doubt Zelensky's bot claim
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's claim that criticism of his government is being amplified by bots is facing pushback from experts, who question whether the alleged coordinated campaign actually exists or is significant. The dispute has fuelled wider argument about online influence operations and about whether criticism of Ukraine's leadership is organic or manufactured.
Why now: Disagreement between a sitting president's claims and independent expert assessments of online manipulation is inherently newsworthy amid the ongoing war.
