Experts cast doubt on Zelensky's bot claim
Original: Experts doubt Zelensky's bot claim
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has claimed that criticism directed at his government is being amplified by bots, but analysts and commentators are publicly questioning the evidence behind that assertion. Skeptics argue the claim lacks proof and could be used to dismiss legitimate dissent, while supporters point to documented influence campaigns targeting Ukraine's leadership.
Why now: A sitting wartime leader's accusation of bot-driven opposition is being challenged by independent experts, fuelling debate over disinformation and political accountability.
