CallSitter bot answers calls and wastes scammers' time
Original: Show HN: CallSitter – bot that answers my calls and wastes scammers' time
A developer has released CallSitter, an open-source tool that automatically answers phone calls and keeps phone scammers on the line, wasting their time instead of the user's. The project is shared on GitHub and is drawing attention on Hacker News, where commenters are discussing its approach to blocking spam calls and the appeal of turning the tables on fraud callers.
Why now: Spam and scam calls are a widespread annoyance, and an open-source bot that fights back is both practical and entertaining to discuss.
