CallSitter bot answers calls and wastes scammers' time
Original: Show HN: CallSitter – bot that answers my calls and wastes scammers' time
A developer has released CallSitter, an open-source tool that automatically answers phone calls on the owner's behalf and keeps scam callers talking, draining their time instead of letting them reach real people. The project was shared on Hacker News, drawing early attention from users interested in anti-spam phone tools.
Why now: Frustration with scam and robocalls keeps tools that retaliate against phone scammers popular in tech communities.
