San Francisco Startup Hiring Robot-Dog Walkers at $20 an Hour
Original: Tired of museum work? Looking for a new career? Wanted: Robot-Dog Walkers. $20/Hour. No pooper scooper required. Earlier
A San Francisco start-up posted an unusual job listing earlier this month: hiring people to walk robot dogs, paying $20 an hour with no experience required. The quirky advert joked that no pooper scooper is needed, and it quickly circulated among museum and tech circles as a curious sign of the growing service economy around consumer robotics.
Why now: The absurd yet real job listing blends humour with the rise of robot pets, making it highly shareable.
