Original: HackerTube: YouTube built from videos recommended by HN

Andrej Karpathy has launched HackerTube, a video site assembled from clips recommended by Hacker News readers, offering an alternative feed to YouTube's algorithm. The project is drawing heavy attention on Hacker News itself, where it ranks as the top story with hundreds of points of engagement, with commenters discussing the idea of community-curated video discovery.
