Reddit restricting old.reddit.com access for inactive users
Original: Reddit is putting more limits on old.reddit.com
Reddit will block access to old.reddit.com for users who have not used the legacy interface in the past six months, adding to earlier limits the company has placed on the classic desktop site. The move has drawn criticism from longtime users who prefer the older, lighter interface and worry Reddit is phasing it out entirely.
Why now: Reddit users and tech communities are reacting to fresh restrictions on the beloved legacy interface.
