Reddit to restrict old.reddit.com access for inactive users
Original: Reddit is putting more limits on old.reddit.com
Reddit will block access to its legacy old.reddit.com interface for users who have not used it in the past six months, Ars Technica reports. The move further limits the classic site, which long-time users favour for its lightweight design and fewer prompts toward the official app. Community reaction is likely to focus on Reddit's ongoing push to consolidate users on the modern interface.
Why now: Reddit's continued restriction of a beloved legacy interface frustrates long-time users who prefer it over the modern site and app.
