GOG Galaxy users hit with over 100GB of updates

Original: Oh... wow...

A PC gamer returning to GOG Galaxy after a few weeks away found more than 100GB of updates waiting, including around 88GB for The Witcher 3 Remaster alone. The post mocks how huge game patches have become, sarcastically noting that SSD storage 'costs nothing anymore' in 2026. The complaint taps into a broader frustration among PC players about ballooning download sizes eating drive space.

Why now: Gamers are venting about the ever-growing size of game updates and the storage burden they place on SSDs.

• Oh... wow... 🥺 😩 😉 # GOG # SSD # GamingPC # PCGaming #… · dfx_tech · 5
