GOG Galaxy users hit with over 100GB of pending game updates
Original: Oh... wow... Man macht, nach ein paar Wochen Pause, mal wieder GOG Galaxy auf und was gibt es ? Über 100GB Updates, alle
A PC gamer reopened the GOG Galaxy launcher after a few weeks away and found more than 100GB of updates waiting, including roughly 88GB for The Witcher 3 Remaster alone. The post mixes mockery and resignation about ever-growing game install sizes, joking that SSD storage 'costs nothing' in 2026. The anecdote resonates with players who routinely delete other games to make room for single patches.
Why now: Massive download sizes for a single remaster reignite ongoing frustration with ballooning game storage requirements.
