GOG Galaxy users hit with over 100GB of updates after a break

Original: Oh... wow...

A PC gamer returning to GOG Galaxy after a few weeks away found more than 100GB of updates waiting, including 88GB for The Witcher 3 Remaster alone. The post mixes surprise with sarcastic resignation about how much drive space games now demand, joking that SSD storage surely costs nothing in 2026. The remarks capture a familiar frustration among PC gamers about ballooning download and install sizes.

Why now: The unusually large update size, especially for the Witcher 3 Remaster, resonates with gamers' ongoing frustration over massive game installs eating SSD space.

• Oh... wow... 🥺 😩 😉 # GOG # SSD # GamingPC # PCGaming #… · dfx_tech · 6
