A member of a Czech ICT trade union has shared a personal film recommendation, pointing to the 1976 American documentary Harlan County, USA as an account of how they became a unionist. They suggest the film to anyone looking for a reason to join a union, to existing members seeking motivation to stay engaged, and to those who care about labor issues but have not yet organised.
Why now: The documentary is a classic of labor filmmaking, and union members are drawing on it to explain and promote union activism.
