Boston Dynamics employees protest robot dog sales to ICE

Original: ICE plan to buy robot dogs spurs protest from Boston Dynamics employees

Employees at robotics firm Boston Dynamics are protesting a reported plan by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement to purchase the company's robot dogs, according to Ars Technica. The workers want to block the sale, echoing earlier internal objections to the use of Boston Dynamics technology by law enforcement and border agencies.

Why now: The reported sale revokes long-running debate over whether the robotics company should allow its robots to be used by immigration authorities.
